After the ongoing success of the Chilliwack Community Food Hub, the three partnered agencies (CCS, Chilliwack Bowls of Hope, and Salvation Army) have since partners with the United Way of British Columbia to begin implementing the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Food Hub (UFVRFH).

This new initiative supports food security programs and services from Chilliwack to Boston Bar.

A significant focus of the UFVRFH is on food justice, supporting access to health food regardless of income, race, religion, and sexual orientation.

Our plan is to create a new facility that will focus on enhancing food security with kitchen facilities, commercial cookers and freezers and expanded provision of fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, meat, eggs, bread and other perishable items.
