Better Beginnings continues to support pregnant people in our community. The program offers a weekly education session and weekly education sessions for tangible items and support.
Once registered, people continue to participate in the program until their babies are 6 months old. Participants are able to access food vouchers, eggs, bread, prenatal vitamins, vitamin D drops, diapers, baby clothing, baby toys and furniture, and more every Thursday at the Neighborhood Learning Centre attached to Chilliwack Secondary School. Participants have access to a lactation consultant, family navigator & family resource program practitioner.
Better Beginnings has a Facebook group that pregnant registrants can join for social support and community connection:

Contact Lana at: [email protected] to sign up.
Two classes are held each week with continuous intake.
Connections are made by meeting new friends and neighbors. We also provide information and referrals to a network of family resources and services. Classes are held at the Neighborhood Learning Centre on
Thursday’s at 9:30 – 10:30 AM & 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
