Rooted in the belief that every young person deserves a place to connect, grow, and belong, we offer free programs that promote physical activity, creativity, social connection, and personal development. Beyond the Bell Summer Programs
Juvee Skate (Year-Round Program)
Wednesdays | 3:00 – 5:30 PM | Landing Leisure Centre
Come skate with us at Juvee Skate, our indoor pop-up skatepark held every Wednesday afternoon at the Landing Leisure Centre in partnership with the City of Chilliwack. Open to all ages, Juvee Skate is a fun and welcoming space to ride, learn new tricks, and connect with the community. We’ve got skateboards and helmets available to borrow if you don’t have your own. Free hot dogs and snacks are served every week!
Please note: while Juvee Skate is an inclusive and supervised environment, it is not a childcare service.
Summer Soccer & Futsal
Thursdays 5:00 – 6:30 PM & Saturdays 9:00 – 11:30 AM | Outdoor Courts at Chilliwack Middle School
Lace up your runners and join us for Summer Soccer & Futsal! This fast-paced, fun-filled program runs twice a week all summer long at the outdoor courts behind Chilliwack Middle School. Youth aged 9 to 14(ish) are invited to come play, develop their skills, and enjoy the game in a positive, inclusive environment.
Runs until August 30. No registration required. Just show up and play!
Juvee Hoops
Wednesdays | 6:30 – 8:30 PM | Green Courts beside Downtown Skatepark
Get in the game with Juvee Hoops, our outdoor basketball program for teens aged 13 to 17(ish). Held at the green courts beside the downtown skatepark every Wednesday evening, Juvee Hoops is all about fun, friendly competition, and building community through sport. No experience necessary—just bring your energy and a good attitude.
Friday Night Hangout
Fridays | 6:00 – 8:00 PM | Central Elementary School
Looking for something fun to do on a Friday night? Friday Night Hangout is a free drop-in program for youth in grades 3 to 7, held every Friday at Central Elementary. Come chill with us and play video games, board games, or run around in the gym with athletic games. We’ve got something for everyone—and yes, snacks are always provided!
Freestyle Friday (Wrestling)
Fridays | 6:00 – 8:00 PM | Landing Leisure Centre
In partnership with the Chilliwack Grapplers, Freestyle Friday brings the thrill of wrestling to youth ages 8 to 15(ish) every Friday night at the Landing Leisure Centre. Whether you’re new to the sport or already love it, this program is a great way to stay active, make friends, and learn from skilled coaches in a safe and supportive environment.
