Families First Program is a parenting group and support program offered to MCFD-referred families and the community. Services are offered through group and in-home intensive support to families to better cope with the challenges of raising a family.

Our funding partner is the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Referrals are mostly made through MCFD, though a couple of spots can be given to community or self referrals.

Who: Parents and caregivers with children ages birth to 12
What:
– To help build healthy connections between parents and children.
– Focuses on knowing yourself, knowing your child, knowing your role as a parent
– And knowing what your child needs and providing it.
Where: Chilliwack Central Community School
When: Two 10-week programs – meets weekly 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and one evening per week.
Childcare: Yes
