We have evaluated whether or not the program is able to provide service in a way that ensures the health and well-being of our clients and volunteers, and have made the difficult decisions to eliminate the program. We are grateful for the employees and volunteers who have dedicated time and energy to our program over the last twenty years. This program has provided essential transportation to vulnerable individuals in our community, ensuring they are able to access their medical appointments in a safe manner with a friendly volunteer. We are in the process of evaluating the community needs and our ability to address the gap in transportation services, in order to better understand what our role can be in the future non-COVID environment. We look forward to sharing more information with you as we come to understand our role.
