better at home

Better at Home is a program that helps seniors with simple day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.

Chilliwack Community Services is the local provider of Better at Home services and partners with Agassiz-Harrison Community Services in Agassiz – Harrison.  Transportation to appointments, minor home repair, light housekeeping and friendly visiting are the four services presently available.

Volunteers and paid contractors provide these non-medical supports to help seniors 65 years and older remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

Friendly Visitor volunteers are needed now. Please see the attached information sheet
