We Serve from Twinkle to Twilight

For over 90 years, CCS has been dedicated to meeting social and community needs in Chilliwack and the surrounding areas. What began in 1928 with the efforts of a single woman helping a neighbour continually grown to serve all people from "twinkle" (birth) to "twilight" (elder). Below are the types of programs we offer.

Serving families with children 0 to 6 years old, our early years programming focuses on attachment-based interventions and strengthening parent-child bonding.

Our youth-focused programs offer outreach services and recreation-based activities to at-risk youth living in Chilliwack.

Working with MCFD and the province, we work with vulnerable families who struggle with child protection, victim services, and family law.

Providing clinical, therapeutic support services to families, young children, and youth, our highly-skilled registered counsellors specialize in attachment-based, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.

With the growing population of seniors in the Chilliwack area, our services extend to providing staff- and volunteer-based outreach services that focus on building community capacity.

Our extensive immigrant services help newcomers with English-building skills, integrating into the community, and building competence.

We provide housing opportunities for people in Chilliwack who are at risk of homelessness.

With the goal of obtaining and maintaining long-term jobs, our training and education programs focus on enhancing job skills through continuing education for adults.

Our Starfish Pack Program provides food every Friday for school-aged children to take home from school to promote healthy nutrition and full bellies.

Through partnership with BC Housing, we are currently in the process of developing an affordable housing project for seniors, and youth.

Stay tuned for more updates.
